About the Author

Though A Case of Nerves is her first published novel, she confesses to having "a closet full" of manuscripts she didn't have the nerve to submit. "I'd like to encourage all the aspiring authors out there to keep the faith. Write because you love to write. When the time is right to start putting stamps on those self-addressed envelopes, you'll find the chutzpah." She recommends you keep Somerset Maugham's observation in mind when you can't finish something, or the critics hate what you finished: "Imagination grows by exercise."
