I have finally, several months later, entered the 21st century. I have now read my first e-book, Knyght &
O'Day by Brian Lawrence. My only complaint is that my bookmark kept sliding down the computer screen. Knyght & O'Day is a tightly written thriller about Francis O'Day, a 6'9" detective for the St. Louis County Police. Lawrence has written a taut, exciting thriller that will make you glad it is on the computer so you can keep your finger on the scroll button and don't have to waste time turning pages.

The plot is well crafted with twists and turns that will keep you keep you guessing and the pace is good. The subplots are seamlessly woven in and out of the main plot helping to develop the relationships between the characters. The characterization is rich and well rounded. Lawrence's O'Day is reminiscent of Crais' Elvis Cole with a little of McBain's Steve Carella thrown in. Amy Stark, Simply Ebooks Reviews. Mr. Lawrence’s characters are noteworthy in their realism. Friendships and failed relationships add depth to these people, who are struggling to do right for themselves and for others. There’s no storybook romance here; instead, a reader will find everyday people who make mistakes and sometimes
fail in their goals and their relationships, but who keep trying and win the reader’s respect.
The action was fairly quick, and the plot twists kept me guessing. Mr. Lawrence’s writing has a way of building suspense and keeping the
reader involved. If you’re a fan of mystery, I’d recommend Knyght & O’Day as a
gripping read!  Sally G. Laturi, Ivy Quill Reviews
Knyght and O'Day, superbly written by Brian Lawrence, is a suspense packed murder mystery that will fasten you to the edge of your seat, afraid to lift your eyes from the page for fear you might miss something. Packed with incredible twists and astonishing turns - all outstandingly written in a technique that never slows the action.
Captivating characters with narratives of their own are intricately woven with a cleverness that only Lawrence could pen. A sure bestseller from page one to the brilliantly created finale.  Pepper Raines, Amazing Authors Showcase
