"Diana Kirk has brought us an adventuresome novel of ancient healers, mystic time travel and ageless love. She also inserted one other delightful ingredient into the work: SONG OF ISIS is fun to read. After all, it's not every girl who gets to perform the Heimlich Method on the Great Pharoah Mentuhotep of Upper and Lower Egypt." ~ US Times Bestseller List and Reviews |

"A time travel romance that is totally worthy of the name, SONG OF ISIS is constructed of careful research, ringing phrasing, decorated with sizzle and action, and furnished with a romance that makes the heart sing. While being an absolute page turner, SONG OF ISIS is a memorable read, one that lingers in your mind like a song you can't forget. The characters show their flaws, their nobility, and their needs, against a backdrop that has a verisimilitude that makes it completely believable. Ms. Kirk, you are, indeed, a writer and deserve high praise for your deft turning of a phrase, your careful use of research, and your ability to make the reader happy to suspend disbelief and spend some time in ancient Egypt." |

A twentieth century physician, Alexandria Stone takes a leave from her work to help her father's study of ancient Egyptian culture. In the middle of discovering a new tomb, Alex finds and reads an ancient scroll which transports her back in time to the Egypt of the pharaohs. Wiping the sand from her eyes, she bumps into the most gorgeous four thousand year old hunk she has ever met. Personal physician to Pharaoh, Tarik is awed by the fair-skinned beauty he finds emerging from Pharaoh's tomb. At first he plans to give Alex to Pharaoh as a gift but soon Tarik desires Alex for his own. Thanks to Pharaoh, the gift of Alex is returned to Tarik as his wife. The two lovers joined by their passion for medicine and desire for one another can only be separated by time. Alex searches for the lost scroll as history takes place around her. A jealous queen and a ruthless usurper to Pharaoh's throne make life in ancient Egypt dangerous. Will Tarik and Alex's love last forever or will the years that stretch between their lifetimes destroy their passion? Diana Kirk's time travel SONG OF ISIS is exciting and fast paced yet the language is poetic. Tarik and Alex are well-written characters that feel like good friends to the reader. Take the TIME to pick up this wonderful read. You'll be glad you did!" ~ Writers Club Romance Group on AOL Reviewer Board |

Millennium Milestones |
One of the biggest changes in life can occur when one is diagnosed with diabetes, a disease that either directly or indirectly affects most everyone. In support of diabetes education and research, Diana Kirk is joining seventeen other noted authors in raising funds through the sale of a charity anthology, "Millennial Milestones: A Celebration of Change," published by DiskUs Publishing. "Everyone is touched by diabetes. The patient, the wife or husband, the parent or sibling, or the good friend. The above facts are harsh in that I want people to know how harsh this disease is," said Marilyn Nesbitt, CEO of DiskUs Publishing, referring to the 200 million people estimated to be diagnosed with diabetes by the end of the year. "I lost my brother-in-law to diabetes, and the pain of that loss lives on when I think how needless his death was, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. With donations like the ones from this book we can win the battle against this disease."
