Marion Marshall
fell in love with romance in 1970 when she was introduced to the genre
by a friend who insisted she read a sensational new novel by Kathleen
Woodiwiss. The book was "The Flame and the Flower," and
Marion was hooked on both the romance genre and the author, who remains
one of her favorite writers. But it wasn't until 1982, after years
of tinkering with the idea, that she decided to try her own hand at
writing a novel.
