Rona Sharon is the author of two historical romance novels and a forthcoming historical fiction novel.  Hello readers! My name is Rona Sharon, a debut storyteller from Tel Aviv, Israel, eager to enthrall you in another magical tale of love and glory, set in the 18th century. Why do I write in English and not in Hebrew? You may ask. For two reasons: a. To my deepest regret, this fine literary genre we all love doesn’t exist in my sunny country on the Mediterranean Sea—which is why I am most likely Barnes & Noble’s #1 on-line shopper of romances; and b. How many of you read Hebrew? Well, then, since I am a fan of American romance novels but also a foreigner from across the Atlantic Ocean, think of me as that funny little man in the striped tunic about to sweep you into a wickedly romantic adventure! MY WICKED PIRATE is a black-haired, blue-eyed devil I invented during an amazing vacation in Lake Como in Northern Italy. What is the connection between a ruthless pirate prowling the High Seas and a palazzo in Northern Italy? That’s what Lady Alanis struggles to solve from the moment she sets eyes on her darkly irresistible captor, who stormed her ship off the coast of Jamaica and offered to show her the world outside her golden cage.
