Hello readers! My name is Rona Sharon, a debut storyteller from Tel Aviv, Israel, eager to enthrall you in another magical tale of love and glory, set in the 18th century. Why do I write in English and not in Hebrew? You may ask. For two reasons: a. To my deepest regret, this fine literary genre we all love doesn’t exist in my sunny country on the Mediterranean Sea—which is why I am most likely Barnes & Noble’s #1 on-line shopper of romances; and b. How many of you read Hebrew? Well, then, since I am a fan of American romance novels but also a foreigner from across the Atlantic Ocean, think of me as that funny little man in the striped tunic about to sweep you into a wickedly romantic adventure! MY WICKED PIRATE is a black-haired, blue-eyed devil I invented during an amazing vacation in Lake Como in Northern Italy. What is the connection between a ruthless pirate prowling the High Seas and a palazzo in Northern Italy?
